The exhibition with drawings from my PhD will take place in Saan1 Gallery in Manchester on 25 and 26 July 2026. The space will be open between midday and 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday. Here is a link with the directions and a map is shown at the bottom of this post.
What is the exhibition about:
Donated bodies, imported into the UK for biomedical research, are sometimes repatriated after use — but when they are not, they reach industrial incinerators. Who performs this disposal work, and how?

Building on my PhD work, Respectful Disposal explores the overlooked intersection of biomedicine and waste infrastructure through large format drawings and three-dimensional objects. Zooming into infrastructural rituals through an architectural lens, the exhibition asks broader questions: How do people become materially disposable? What infrastructural labour does our healthcare system depend upon?
