The workshops help to think and collaborate through physically created objects, where exploration and serendipity are prized over perfection and formal conventions. Workshops of four types have been useful to community and stakeholder groups, undergraduate and postgraduate students, and school pupils. Further information about the psychological ideas behind the process is provided here. A workshop can be a single day session or a series of cumulative sessions exploring different themes.
