As an architect, a researcher and an artist, I have been running creative design workshops focused on intuitive model-making since 2017. Typically organised at architecture and art schools, the workshops enable the participants to use physically crafted objects as design tools, whilst experimenting with unconventional materials.
I am currently undertaking a PhD at the University of Manchester. Having been primarily specialised in visually studying waste infrastructure, my project takes a spatial and material perspective on the handling of bequeathed human bodies at waste incinerators, crematoria, specimen repositories and anatomy schools. The project aims to visualise and contextualise the abstract concepts of respect and dignity in relation to a human body.

I have 7 years of professional experience of working as an architect at practices ranging from 3 to 300 people in size in student residential, hospitality and commercial sectors. My previous research project, undertaken at the University of Cambridge between 2016 and 2018, focused on community-led hospitality schools in Nigeria. The project led to two publications and received a commendation at RIBA President’s Medals 2018.
