1st year students at Bath Spa are designing a small museum dedicated to a craft. Willow weaving, print making, ceramics and carpentry were amongst some of the chosen crafts.

Having well progressed into the project for a few weeks prior to the workshop, the students were investigating the important spaces within their museums.

The workshop aim was to build a close-up atmospheric model exploring these. The models looked at both external and internal areas, interfaces, corners, circulation areas and display cabinets of the museums. The photographs were as important as the models themselves.
