The 3rd year undergraduate students at Bath Spa are working on their final project ‘Connection’, on a series of sites in Glastonbury.

The workshop brief is to prepare a conceptual process-driven model that responds to the site and the theme in both a tangible and a non-tangible ways.
Tangible responses included models of peat levels, primeval walkways and old industrial or religious structures near to the respective sites.

Non-tangible responses drew inspiration from layering historic maps, imagining construction techniques, conceptualising tree crowns, modelling arts and rituals.

As usual, the workshop was wrapped up with group discussions, summarising learnings and steps forward.
