Over the course of 2023 I worked on Emilia’s 4th restaurant, not far from where tourists photograph a wax Taylor Swift and Sherlock Holmes practiced baritsu. As with previous projects, I worked directly with the restaurant’s founder and project manager on the technical / back of house parts, whilst a side company, A-rnd, was contracted to design the customer area layout and finishes.
The main customer seating areas are along the open bar and kitchen. As well as bar, kitchen and back of house finishes, I was tasked with designing the suspended shelving above bar / kitchen, which proved to be complex due to ceiling cervices above. See slides below for my detailed study:
