Last week I revisited the Tees Valley Energy-from-Waste plant near Middlesbrough. The main aim of the visit was to attempt the visual ethnography method, used by Tondeur (2016), James (2016), Taussig (2011). I prepared the sectional sketch in advance by using the drawings from Stockton-on-Tees planning portal and photographs from my first visit. The perspective sketch of the tipping area was done entirely at the facility.
