To me, model-making is a phenomenological process of discovering of how different material work and what they want to become. In many instances I have a vague idea of the final outcome, when starting on the model. An idea develops in the process of making, whilst the materials ‘use me’ to arrange them into what they ‘want’ to become. Below are some images showing the model-making process:
