Modeling elevated walkways

Based on last CUHK tutorial, I will be using models to represent the wider site situation and case studies, as well as design ideas. Given the potential intention to lift the proposal off Ajah’s unpredictable marsh, I went to do a case study on the ‘city without ground’. I chose Mongkok, where busy roads and dense housing result in some pedestrian activity happening above ground. Coincidently it was the day when Hong Kong’s domestic workers occupy this space so I sat amongst them making my model.
