Having been videoed by an Uber driver Mr Jagaban of Ikeja (Link) I arrived at Ikeja Along amidst airport, busy motorway and railway (with trade happening on the rails in between trains).
Given the choice of potential sites either on Lekki peninsula or on Lagos Mainland, today I was joined by two local Covenant University students to review an existing hotel and three potential sites in Ikeja.
Potential site 1 – former shopping mall (which was closed partly due to large new western style Shoprite mall nearby)
Potential site no. 2 also a shopping mall near a busy route (but no stopping place/destination) near Allen Alley, Ikeja
Potential site no.3 : former Intercontinental bank
What was originally planned to be Alen alley sidewalks is now used for car parking and projecting fences separating the plots.
