Today I visit another staff training facility, this time owned by the Women Board NGO. Unlike the Lagoon Institute, Wavecrest offers all four year of education (excluding a placement year after first 2 years) with full programme bringing school graduates to management staff roles.
I have been shown everywhere around the peaceful and large territory in Surulere, and I have seen locations for theoretical, practical teaching, as well as the dormitories. Related College news page
With students in one of the dining rooms. Although the plot and all buildings are owned by the NGO, the re are multiple parties involved in the life of college. There are separate kitchens and dining halls for students, their guests, staff and a family living on the plot. All cooking, cleaning and event management is done by students.
